Writer. Content Producer. Content Marketing. Strategy Development. Creative. What’s Your Story?

A writer by education and passion, I could tell you that I'm: "A dynamic senior executive with more than 20 years of success developing and executing strategic marketing plans, designing and launching effective campaigns, I am known for my experience in strategy development, brand building, creative activation and promotion development."

I could also tell you:

"I have extensive experience that ensures cross-functional alignment and I have worked tirelessly to craft powerful marketing tools for businesses of all sizes. I know that my experience, leadership and strong problem-solving skills will allow me to help your team prioritize and orchestrate a full 360-degree marketing initiative to drive business growth. "  All of which is absolutely true.

But here's the real story:

I love the written word.  The ability to create an image in the readers' mind, to create a story behind a brand, to inform others or to get some of my own feelings down on paper/web/google/social....

I grow businesses through strategy, creating and communicating their stories, their industry news, their updates, and I cross that with the real meat-and-potatoes of WHO they really are... out in the community, taking their kids to sports, offering new seminars, or helping their clients to find a little peace and comfort in the chaos of daily life. I watch engagement increase, phones ring, emails flow into in-boxes, and their schedules fill up.  Their clients are engaged in their lives.  And that's what I've done for them.

I am a multi-tasking leader with emotional intelligence, and I'm able to lead, follow or be a part of any team.  I can pivot, shift, and still meet deadlines and produce results.  I provide service with integrity. I don't care if you are a one-man operation or a multi-billion corporation.  What I care about is you.  Your brand.  Your success.  That's what really matters.

I was put on this earth to help others, and because I am a community focused leader, I've served on boards for therapeutic riding centers to banks.  I give of my time and my talents to my community because I believe in the power of being "a part of" something greater than just me and mine.  I put on my painters clothes to help the homeless. I”ve fostered animals.  I am a mom.

And that is my greatest achievement for sure:  Mom. It might look like there was a "break" in my resume, but there was no break.  Trust me.  That was the time where I was fortunate enough to "stay home" with my two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Alison.  Olivia is attending Ohio State University and majoring in Veterinary Medicine. She’s a former Youth Rodeo Queen, graduated with above a 4.0 GPA, and is a member of OSU’s equestrian teams. Alison is a Senior in high school, and just like her sister, completing Advanced Placement classes with high grades, is a member of a competitive dance team, and has won a National Dance Title. My skills in time-management, conflict resolution, organizational skills, and stress management are obvious, because during this time "at-home"  I was either a partner or owner of a business. Almost all of which were sold at a profit or transferred and still exist today.

From traditional agency work in the late 1990s to today, I’ve really done it all. Managing budgets of upwards of $1M, from projects for Fortune 500s to tiny start-ups alike, you name it, I've probably done it.  Or at least know how to figure it out. On-trend and innovative projects I’ve worked on have won awards from the American Advertising Federation Awards, PA Newspaper Association, and Best Small Business of the Year and more. I’m so grateful for the acknowledgements and success.

I have built marketing departments, brand identities, teams in the corporate world, and am still raising two young women of whom I am incredibly proud. I know that I am an enthusiastic and results-driven marketing executive that can help your team to succeed.

I'm a writer, a leader, a proven success story.  So that's my story... What's Yours?
